Well, I'm not sure if I've actually scored better on the British than I would on the American list, but at least I'm less embarrassed about the ones I haven't seen!
Love the comments - Laughed uproarishly (word?) at every "Meh" - it is now a permanent part of my vocabulary. How can three letters express so much, such nuance. Two thumbs up for this blog!
'Withnail and I' has some very funny moments. Perhaps not worth renting, but if you catch it on TV, give it a chance.
again, a great list. watch #40 if you can. maybe i'm just a fan of all those actors in it (am a huge brenda blethyn & timothy spall fan), but i thought it was good. - ditto for #8 and #10.
there were so many good movies that didn't make either list. ever see "torch song trilogy" with harvey fierstein??? - only actor to tie tommy tune with tony awards.
great blog, X.

Great list! Great comments... but it was posted on Monday, and it's Friday... can you hear the whine? Looking for entertainment....
